For outfitting the team without stretching the budget
When you are buying for a lot of people, what matters is that the hoodie lasts and that the cost per garment stays under control. In this range, mid-weight cotton and polyester styles work well, with crew neck or hood, embroidered on the chest or printed on the back.
The usual mistake is going too light: below 250 g/m², the garment loses its shape sooner and feels less substantial in winter. If the logo goes on the front, keep it discreet; a large multi-colour design centred on the chest feels more like a uniform than a hoodie people will actually wear.

If you want custom hoodies that people will wear outside work too, it is worth stepping up the fabric and finish. Styles with a more substantial feel work very well here, often in recycled materials, with embroidered hoodies especially effective with a left-chest logo or a small mark on the sleeve.
It is worth checking the size chart before you finalise the breakdown, especially for relaxed fits. And if you choose a full zip, look closely at the chest branding area: the logo sits next to the zip and not every design works equally well there.

When the hoodie is a gift, you can tell straight away whether the garment has weight, good fabric and branding to match. The premium range suits denser sweatshirting and better finishes, where small custom embroidered hoodies on the chest or sleeve look clean and feel more like proper clothing than uniform.
It is rarely worth ordering a large embroidered logo on the back: it adds weight, pulls on the fabric and pushes the price up sharply. If you need something warmer than a hoodie, consider a softshell jacket or a fleece; otherwise, a sober colour tends to get worn for more months.
