A trophy is seen up close

Unlike most merchandise, a trophy is not used: it sits on a shelf, and the person who receives it looks at it closely for years. That changes the priorities. With custom trophies, the acrylic edge needs to be polished, not roughly cut; the engraving on glass needs to be clean; and the winner’s name needs to be correct, with no typos and the right job title. That is why we spend as much time on the text and logo positioning as on the shape.

Trophy orders usually combine one shared design with different text on each piece: sales awards by category, long-service recognition, awards from a convention. The minimum quantity depends on the mould or die, and we confirm it in the quote. Each unit can carry its own name and category. You send us the list, and you check every text in the mock-up before production.

Materials and when to choose each one

Glass costs more than acrylic and is considerably heavier to ship. A bespoke design may require an initial prototype stage, which we confirm in the quote.

What you need to tell us for the quote

Trophies are not listed in the online catalogue: they are made from your specifications. With this, we prepare the quote and mock-up:

• Quantity and how many different designs you need, for example one for first prize and another for mentions.
• Material and approximate height, or a reference image of what you have in mind.
• Text list: award name and, for each piece, person or team, job title, category and year.
• Presentation: individual box, card explaining the reason for the award, or delivered without a case.
• Date of the event, so production and shipping can be planned with enough margin.
• Logo in vector format (SVG, AI or PDF): the laser follows paths, not pixels. If you only have PNG or JPG, we will check it and tell you whether it works.

How to place a trophy order

   Quote and mock-up

   Within 24 working hours, we send you the quote and a free mock-up of the trophy with your logo and text in place.

   Text check and payment

   You review names, job titles and categories carefully, because that is where errors appear. You pay when you approve the mock-up, before production.

   Production and delivery

   Usually, it takes two or three weeks from approval; optical glass or a bespoke design can take a little longer. Each trophy travels protected. We ship with tracking to one address or split across several sites, throughout the EU.

When they are ordered and what they are paired with

The occasions are fairly predictable: the annual sales convention, long-service recognition, the close of a major project, an internal tournament or the awards ceremony at an industry conference. When there are only a few named pieces, glass and wood stand up better to close inspection; when many are being handed out, acrylic and custom medals are lighter and more economical. For recognition that hangs on the wall, look at commemorative plaques.

A trophy is often paired with a practical item the recipient will use every day, such as a notebook or a personalised pen, or with a gift for all attendees as part of event merchandise.
